My son was disappointed that I didn't let him help, but I bought this one for me. My initial thought about this was that it was kind of cool. The London buses were only double-deckers. This one from Harry Potter is a triple-decker! My kids easily put this 403 piece set together in less than 15 minutes. The bus is much more narrow that I thought it would be, and it was much smaller too. Aside from one large swinging door to expose the interior, there's not much ado with this set. It's not really giftable either unless it's going to a Harry Potter fan. On the bright side, it's over 90% purple blocks, which is not one of their base colors. Great for LEGO and HP fans.
I did pick this up while it was on sale (20% off RRP), but in hindsight, I should have held out.
It is official Lego, and it is sold and shipped by Amazon, so it came quickly, no complaints there either. Top reviews from other countries
